Fishing Reports

Water cooling off nicely now producing some good evening rises if it’s calm.

Daddys, Hoppers and sedges have been top patterns this last week Drifted Static on a long leader, Black buzzers, orange Fritz, damsels, cats whiskers and bloodworms have all taken fish also.

A few doubles starting to move with the water cooling also, Dave Robinson from gateshead returned a 12lb 4oz rainbow on a damsel nymph, Andrew Smailes from Ashington returned a double of 11lb on a orange foam head hopper.

Nights are starting to cut in now so closing time will be changing on a regular basis.

Good stocking this week for the top lakes, the bottom lake will be closed while we continue weed clearance next week.

Tight lines/wet nets!.
